13/12/2018 Rev W Kelly, B.A., rector of Bellaghy, who conducted the afternoon services in Christ Church on Sunday, made sympathetic reference to the loss sustained by Rev J B Tarleton and Mrs Tarleton to the death of Mr C W Murray, who was killed in action at the Dardanelles and who was Mrs Tarleton’s eldest brother.

13/08/2016 Mrs J B Tarleton, The Rectory, Castledawson, has been notified that her brother, Mr C W Murray, has been killed in action at the Dardanelles. Private Murray, who was a member of the secretarial staff of the Bank of Ireland, enlisted in the ‘Pals’ Company of the 7th Dublin Fusiliers. He was one of the landing party at Suvla Bay, and was killed ten days later.

23/02/2016 Cecil joined the Bank of Ireland in June 1901.
23/02/2016 The 1901 census does not list Cecil as living with the family at house 9 in Bannow More, Bannow, County Wexford. His mother was a widow. Instead, the lists Cecil Murray as age 17 living with an uncle and sister Maud at house 15 in Hatch Street Lower, Fitzwilliam, Dublin. He was a student.
