Summary      
William Montgomery was the son of Alexander and Elizabeth Montgomery. He was born about 1925. Gunner William Montgomery served with the Royal Artillery in World War Two. Gunner William Montgomery was serving with 6th Independent Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment when he died on 26th November 1941. He was 26 years old. Gunner William Montgomery is buried in Benghazi War Cemetery in Libya.

Summary      
Benghazi is a seaport on the Mediterranean. The cemetery is about 7 kilometres south-east of Benghazi in the Fuihat area, about 300 metres from the childrens' hospital on the opposite side of the road. From the city centre take the road following the coast past the sports stadium. Approximately 2 kilometres beyond the stadium is a large roundabout with a flyover on to the Tripoli road.
