Summary      
Charles Joseph Bradley was the son of Charles and Maria Rooney Bradley. He was born in Magherafelt about 1891. Joseph’s father was a member of the Royal Irish Constabulary (R.I.C.). Joseph enlisted in Strabane. He was living in Newtownstewart at the time. Private Joseph Bradley was serving with the 2nd Battalion of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers when he was killed in action in France on 22 November 1916. He was 25 years old. Private Bradley has no known grave and is commemorated on Thiepval Memorial.

Summary      
The Thiepval Memorial will be found on the D73, next to the village of Thiepval, off the main Bapaume to Albert road (D929). Each year a major ceremony is held at the memorial on 1 July.
