27/09/2016 Last Will and Testament of Private Patrick Duffin, dated 20th November 1915:
27/09/2016 Private P Duffin is buried in Corbie Communal Cemetery Extension.
27/09/2016 In his will Patrick left all to his wife.
27/09/2016 Private Patrick Duffin was serving with the 7th Battalion of the Leinster Regiment when he died of wounds on Tuesday 5th September 1916.
27/09/2016 The 1911 census lists Patrick as age 36, living with his family at house 26 in Varna Street, Falls, Belfast – presumably the same house. Patrick was still a general labourer. Jane was a Spinner of Linen Yarn. It seems their first born, Annie, had died.
27/09/2016 Known family: Patrick Duffin, Jane Duffin, Annie Duffin (born 5th December 1900), Sarah Duffin (born about 1902), Mary Duffin (born 30th March 1907), Kathleen Duffin (born 16th April 1909).
27/09/2016 The 1901 census lists Patrick as age 24, living with his family at house 26 in Varna Street, The Falls, Belfast. Patrick was working as a labourer.
27/09/2016 Patrick Duffin married Jane O'Neill on 22nd December 1898 in the district of Antrim.
27/09/2016 Patrick Duffin was born about 1875 in Moneyglass, just north of Toome.
