Oakham is the county town of Rutland in the East Midlands, 25 miles east of Leicester. Andrew Conway served with Leicestershire Regiment for a time during World War One. Private Andrew Conway was serving with the 10th Battalion of the Cheshire Regiment when he was wounded. He died of those wounds on 23rd July 1917. He was 27 years of age. His wife Elizabeth lived at Galgorm Street, Ballymena.
