Summary      
Francis George Kinghan was the son of Samuel and Sarah Kinghan. He was born about 1917. Francis George Kinghan served with the Royal Air Force in World War Two. By June 1940, Sergeant Kinghan was a wireless operator with 254 Squadron. The Blenheim aircraft in which he was part of a three man crew was shot down off the coast of Norway nn 25th June 1940. There were no survivors. The CWGC record Sergeant (Wireless Operator) Francis George Kinghan as the son of Samuel and Sarah Kinghan of Toomebridge.

The town of Haugesund is situated to the south of Bergen on the Route 11. From the Route 11 turn off at the signs for Rossebo church and follow this road past the church to the T Junction. At the T Junction turn left into Salhusvein and the cemetery is located along this road on the right.
