Civilian Andrew Hillis was the youngest son of the late Andrew and Elizabeth Hillis. He was born in 1884, the youngest of ten children, all born in the Toome - Randalstown area. Andrew Hillis became the husband of Mary Hillis. They lived in Dumbarton, Scotland. Andrew Hillis was injured at Edzell, Dumbarton on 7th May 1941. He died at Killearn Hospital on 24th September 1941.
